DAY 3: ANCOL DREAMLAND

I'm an absolute sucker for amusement parks. That is why when I found out about the Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, or Ancol Dreamland, I knew I had to go there. The kid in me just kept screaming and jumping in joy.

There are so much things to do in Ancol Dreamland so I have decided to check in a new hotel near the area. I got the Double Superior Room at Discovery Hotel and Convention which is only at Php2,935.00 a night!

After checking in, I went straight to Ancol Dreamland where I had to pay an entrance fee of only IDR10,000 or PHP34.39. Ancol dreamland has many attractions but I have decided to check out Dunia Fantasi or Ancol Dreamland's Fantasy World first. Dunia Fantasi had an entrance fee of IDR70,000 or Php239.10. The place reminded me of DIsneyland which I still love visiting by the way.

All of the rides were amazing but having to go around and falling in line in almost every ride is exhausting so, I have decided to have a quick but delicious lunch in the area. And what better way to have a quick and delicious meal? Mcdonalds. It fascinates me how there are Mcdonalds everywhere, in every country. The best part is that, each country always offer something different and unique.

I had the Beef Prosperity Deluxe with Twister Fries and Fizz. It reminded me of the Pork Mcribs Deluxe we had in the Philippines, although this tasted better because there are tomatoes in it.

After having lunch, I went on and tried to ride as much attractions as I can. After that, I've deicded to go to Ancol's Atlantis Waterpark. Before that, I first have to ride the Gondola Ancol which was a cable car that wouldl take me to the waterpark.

The Gondola Ancol costs IDR 45,000 or Php153.71. It was really fun because you get to see the Ancol Dreamland in a Bird's eye view. When I reached that Atlantis Waterpark, I realized how much fun I'd have. With an entrance of IDR150,000 or Php512.37, I was able to enjoy all the water activities.

Come dinner time, I just had to have a scrumptious Seafood dinner. I have decided to eat dinner at Bandar Jakarta. Only having to spend Php390.00 for some delicious Indonesian Seafood Dishes
