For my 18th day in Indonesia, I have decided to explore the eastern part of Bali, especially after seeing the wonders of the western part yesterday. For today, I hired a car service worth Php1,995.52.
For my first stop, I went to the Tinta Gangga Water Palace. The place, only having the entrance fee of Php51.10, was really beautiful. It was obviously well maintained and the stone structures that highlights the water was magnificent.
Next was the Goa Gajah Temple (Elephant Cave) which like the Water Palace, had the entrance fee of only Php51.10. The place was really cool and the details of the cave was extraordinary.
Afterwards, I proceeded to Goa Lawah Temple (Bat Cave). It also has an entrance fee of Php51.10 and although the previous cave seemed more interesting for me, the place was also cool.
After a tiring morning, I went to a nearby food establishment, the Sari Baruna. The food was not fancy like the ones found in a restaurant, but they say that you would only experience the real delicacy of a place, when you eat fod cooked by the locals. And for Php250.00, it was definitely worth trying.
After having lunch, I went on my way to Sanur Beach where I was able to avail of different water activities. I chose Kite Surfing (which costs Php1,192.25) and a Diving and Snorkeling Package (which costs Php5,875.38). I have always loved water activities and so being able to try them in one of the best beaches is definitely a must-try.
Before Heading back, I went and had dinner at Gateway of India. Indian food is something I have always fancied, especially when I was in Japan. Their use of spices was just extraordinary. Their food is absolutely delicious. Having to spend only Php341.64, I was able to eat an Indian meal set which definitely ended my day perfectly.
